Passione Viola Strings

The Passione Viola strings are a wound aluminum with a gut core. With this combination of string you will get a lower tensioned, more responsive string and warm sounding. The gut core tends to offer a warmer sound than a synthetic or steel core. Again, while these are general comparisons, it will always come down to the particular viola being played and the player's style and expectations.

Here we offer the Passiones by sets (medium, light or heavy), or you can mix and match with different tensions. There is also a steel A that is very responsive and tends to be a tad bit brighter than the wound A. Both A's come with with a ball end that is easily removable for those that use a loop style end.
